Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) Massage

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) Massage

Manual Lymphatic Draignage (MLD) Massage involves gentle manipulation of specific areas of the body to move excess fluid buildup toward lymph vessels and nodes. This reduces any swelling in the body and allows your lymph nodes to release toxins.

This treatment is beneficial if you have a congested lymph system which is often indicated by:

  • Swelling (edema) or fluid retention
  • Bloating
  • Puffy hands, feet, or ankles
  • Fatigue or feelings of sluggishness
  • Skin concerns such as acne, breakouts, or dull complexion
  • Poor circulation or a feeling of heaviness in the limbs

MLD is also commonly used following certain surgical procedures to help reduce post-operative swelling and support healing. Individuals who have undergone cancer treatment may also benefit, as some cancer surgeries involve the removal of lymph nodes, which can affect normal lymphatic drainage.
