Pricing
In order to confirm your appointment at Avita, we require a credit card to be added to your account. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy if you need to cancel your appointment and do not want to be charged. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for the appointment. Note: For security reasons, your credit card number is saved as a token.
At Avita Health and Massage Therapy Clinic in North Vancouver, we take pride in delivering premium care at competitive prices. If you have an extended health plan, you may also receive partial coverage for your treatment. We direct bill most extended health plans.

Direct Billing
Avita Health & Massage is able to directly bill to most extended health plans of our clients. Please see the list below, and if any of these apply to you please let us know when you book your appointment. By supplying us the policy and ID number we can set up a direct billing account for you. If there is an amount that your plan does not cover, you simply pay the difference at the time of the appointment and the plan will send us the remainder by cheque.
Please note:
- We are not able to determine when you have maxed out your individual benefits, so please be sure to stay on top of this by contacting your Extended Health Provider directly for this information. Thank you.
- Exception to direct billing. In the case of Orthotics and Counselling, we are unfortunately not able to direct bill. The client must pay up front and submit to their extended plan for reimbursement. Thank you.
How do I determine my extended healthcare benefits coverage?
- Review your benefits package through your employer
- Contact your extended healthcare company or visit their website
- Talk to your human resources (HR) or extended health plan administrator

Supporting Your Recovery After a Motor Vehicle Accident
At Avita, we are dedicated to helping individuals injured in motor vehicle accidents achieve a full recovery. We offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach where our team of practitioners collaborates to ensure the most effective and efficient care for your rehabilitation.
If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, you are pre-approved for the following treatments within 12 weeks:
- Physiotherapy – 25 sessions
- Chiropractic – 25 sessions
- Massage Therapy – 12 sessions
- Acupuncture – 12 sessions
No doctor’s note is required for treatment within the first 12 weeks after your accident. Beyond this period, additional treatments will require both ICBC authorization and a doctor’s note.
Please note: Some services may have a user fee, as ICBC may not cover the full cost. The details are outlined below.
Physiotherapy
Initial assessment: Fully covered by ICBC
Subsequent visits: $7 for a 30 minute treatment.
Chiropractic
Initial assessment: $8
Subsequent visits: $14 per visit.
Massage Therapy
Initial visit/assessment: $3.75
Subsequent visits: $36.30
Acupuncture
Initial visit/assessment: $12
Subsequent visits: $31
Clinical Counselling
Cost: Initial and Subsequent sessions are covered by ICBC on approved claims.
Important Notes
Cancellations & No-Shows: If you cancel or miss an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if ICBC denies payment, you will be responsible for the full cost of the appointment.
For Clinical Counselling, please note that we are unable to direct bill ICBC. Patients must pay upfront and submit claims to ICBC on their own.
